DTIL broadened its reach from eight assets in 2003-04 to ten estates in Assam in 2012-13. As a result, the company is now one of the ten largest tea producers in India. The company's tea packaging and blending units are located at the Dhunseri Tea Estate (Assam) and Jaipur (Rajasthan).
